Wong Kar Ling
Managing Partner | Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya
Wong Kar Ling is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Wong Partnership. Her practice focuses on corporate advisory, capital markets, property development and cross-border transactions.
She advises corporations, developers, financial institutions and business owners on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, shareholder arrangements, joint ventures, regulatory compliance and transactional structuring.
Her work also includes advising on equity capital market exercises and corporate governance matters. In addition to her corporate practice, Kar Ling has experience in property development and infrastructure-related transactions, acting for developers and investors in structuring and documentation of development projects. She also advises on selected cross-border matters involving foreign investment into Malaysia.
Richard Wong
Principal Partner | Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya
Wong Chun Kiat, also known as Richard Wong, is the Co-Founder and Principal Partner of Wong Partnership. His practice focuses on civil litigation, conveyancing and dispute resolution matters.
Richard represents corporate and individual clients in a range of contentious and non-contentious matters, including contractual disputes, shareholder-related issues, debt recovery proceedings and property-related disputes. He also acts for vendors, purchasers, landlords and tenants in residential and commercial property transactions.
In conveyancing matters, Richard advises on sale and purchase agreements, tenancy and lease documentation, financing documentation and related transactional processes. He works closely with clients to ensure that documentation and procedures comply with applicable legal requirements.
His approach is structured and practical, with emphasis on careful preparation, procedural compliance and clear communication throughout the engagement.
